Wow. I don't think I can express my feelings in words about this experience. Studying with Ariel Yosef Zev Barnes, and the rest of the amazing faculty, meeting so many incredible musicians that I can call good friends, the close sense of community, the positivity and cooperation amongst everyone, being in one of the most beautiful areas of the planet, eating amazing food, swimming in the Mediterranean sea, playing concerts in Valdeblore and Cagnes-sur-mer and exploring Nice and Cannes...there was so much love in this festival. I was privileged to be able to perform in amazing chamber ensembles with people from great music schools all over the world, give the world premiere of an intense contemporary piece, and make meaningful connections with a hugely diverse array of musicians and composers. It was one of the most unforgettable and valuable experiences of my life.
